artisans in Guatemala through fair trade. Globally Minded partners
with artisans in Guatemala to design hip beaded, fair trade and
eco-fashion jewelry, handcrafted by Mayan women in the Highlands of
Guatemala.
In addition, Kat founded Globally Minded Works, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization, to support education and charitable projects in Guatemala. Globally Minded gives a portion of its profits to Globally Minded Works, for the purpose of providing educational scholarships for Mayan children in Guatemala.
